Life Lately: Our Summer Recap

This summer felt like it was lived mostly at the baseball fields (again)! We went to so many baseball games, spent plenty of nights in hotels, and had what felt like hundreds of nights away. It was busy and a little chaotic at times, but also filled with so many fun memories that come with this stage of life—and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

We also said goodbye to our camper at the beginning of the year, which was definitely bittersweet. We loved our camping weekends, but with baseball and everything else filling up our summers, we just don’t have many open weekends for camping right now. In between all the baseball and traveling, we still managed to squeeze in plenty of summer fun at home—making pizzas in our pizza oven, painting, swimming, golfing, playing board games, and just hanging out together. We made it to the fair, where we somehow came home with a fish (who, unfortunately, didn’t make it very long!), and we even had a little braces milestone this summer—one kid got braces on and another got theirs off! Nothing too fancy, just a full summer of being together, making memories, and enjoying all the little moments in between the running around.

It’s been a full summer on the design side, with lots of projects wrapping up and some exciting new ones getting ready to kick off! Our med spa renovation is almost complete, along with a new build we’ve been furnishing and decorating, a townhouse furniture + decor project, and a bathroom + fireplace renovation. We also have several exciting projects just getting started, including an office remodel, laundry room refresh, and basement and bathroom renovations.

As much as we love seeing these projects come together, we’re also really excited for what’s ahead. We have some new and exciting things coming this fall, and I can’t wait to share more soon. Stay tuned! :)
